A two day event, titled Bangladesh Road Show UK 2015 -‘Creating Opportunities for Investors’, was held on 10th and 11th September, 2015 at East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, London. The event was organized by Board of Investment, Bangladesh, the apex investment promotion agency of the Government of Bangladesh.
The prestigious event was attended by senior officials of the Government of Bangladesh, business leaders from Bangladesh, local investors and entrepreneurs, prominent international speakers, non-resident Bangladeshis and industry experts.
Mr. Syed Farhad Ahmed, Managing Director of aamra companies, was present at the event as a keynote speaker and delivered his speech on ‘ICT prospects in Bangladesh’. He was also a member of the panel discussion on “Prospects of Telecommunication Industry in Bangladesh” along with Mr. Salahuddin Kasem Khan – pioneer Bangladeshi Industrialist, Dilip Pal – Chief Financial Officer of Grameenphone Limited and Ahmad Haleem – Chief Financial Officer of Banglalink.
The event showcased the investment climate and opportunities in investing in Bangladesh and builds a cohesive network among foreign investors, government, private sector leaders.
