Successful deployment of aamra free Wi-Fi for 80,000 students of North Bengal

aamra networks limited implemented WE WiFi, a free WiFi service on six different Educational Institutions of Rajshahi Division, North Bengal. This is a part of the ongoing program of facilitating free WiFi services to educational institutions.

This free WiFi service was launched by Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of ICT and Syed Farhad Ahmed, Managing Director, aamra companies. Other distinguish guests were present during the launching ceremonies.

Locations that are now under free Wi-Fi includes Varendra Govt College, Rajshahi, Rajshahi University, Rajshahi College, Singra Damdama Pilot School and College, Gol-E- Afroz Govt. College, Natore, Nawab Siraj-Ud-Doulah Government College, Natore, Shankar Gobinda Chowdhury Stadium, Natore.

“We have to turn young generation into competent workforce through imparting IT skills as they are future leader of Bangladesh,” said Mr. Palak. He also emphasized the need of internet that has increased significantly in the past eight years.

Mr. Farhad is a strong believer and advocator of enhancing internet access and decreasing digital divide in Bangladesh. Under this initiative, nearly 80,000 students will get free internet facilities that will accelerate the process of building a digital Bangladesh.

WE free WiFi program is the latest stride aamra has initiated to incorporate technology for improving people’s lifestyle. This project enables us to get easy access in Internet.
