Mr. Rahman holds Masters in Management from the University of Dhaka. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh since 2010. He also completed Chartered Accountancy Intermediate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. He joined aamra companies in December 2020 as Finance Controller. Mr. Rahman is also the Chief Financial Officer of aamra technologies limited besides overseeing the Group’s financial control activities as Group Finance Controller.

Mr. Rahman started his service carrier with Alisco Foods Limited in 1997. He was the Manager-Cost, Budget, and Sales of Alisco before joined the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) as Assistant Director- Accounts, Finance, Audit, and Commercial Operation in June 2000. He served for BPDB for more than seven years. He then again entered into the private sector and joined Khaleque Group of Industries presently Keya Group as General Manager – Accounts, Finance, Costing, Budgeting and, Head of Internal Audit. After left the Khaleque Group, he worked for Sunman Group of Companies, Northern Toshrifa Group-NTG, Fakir Fashion Ltd. in senior-level position including Group Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary, and Head of Internal Audit, etc. He was the architect of Toshrifa’s Initial Public Offering (IPO). Before joining aamra companies he was the Group General Manager – Finance, Accounts & Commercial Department of Thermax Group. Mr. Rahman has successful track records in corporate financing, budgetary control, investment planning, MIS reporting, and implementation of ERP.

During his over 24 years of extensive experience, he successfully leads several large groups of companies especially in costing, finance & accounts, auditing, internal control, MIS, etc.

During his career, he also has working experience with the Inland Revenue Department of Hong Kong and Cambodia related to preparing financial statements and tax assessment on behalf of Five Continental Credit Ltd (FCCL), Ocean Garments Limited (OGL), and Sunman Enterprise Limited (SEL) the registered companies of HK & Cambodia.

Mr. Rahman attended various training, seminar, workshops at home and abroad. He traveled to Cambodia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nepal, India, Dubai, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and, Switzerland.

Mr. Rahman was the council member of ICMAB Chittagong Branch Council. He also contributed a lot to ICMAB as a Member of the Seminar & Conference Committee and Cost Audit Committee of the National Council of ICMAB.
