aamra’s Managing Director Syed Farhad Ahmed spoke at Dhaka Global Dialogue 2019, jointly organized by Bangladesh International Institute of Strategic Studies (BIISS) and Observer Research Foundation, on 11 November 2019. “Dhaka Global Dialogue” is a prestigious symposium of international experts from 50+ countries. The dialogue aims to be a flagship forum to catalyze conversations regarding the emerging regional and global politico-economic order in the Indo-Pacific. This event was held on 11-13 November 2019 at Dhaka Intercontinental Hotel. This prestigious event was inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Mr. Ahmed spoke as a panelist at a live session titled – “Technology and Development: Innovating for Next 5 Billion”. Mr. Ahmed focused on the need of access to Internet on a national scale and how technological amenities such as connectivity, device, cloud etc can bring critical empowerment in the lives of common people.
Reputed international scholars Dr. Mike Briers, CEO of Foodagility Australia and Dr. Krzysztof M. Zalewski, Chair of Boym Institute, Poland also took part in this lively session.
